I had Visual Studio Professional installed before exact same setup, with no issues installing VS There were errors during setup. I downloaded the program from the Microsoft DreamSpark website for free, as I am a student – no product key required twice to make sure there wasn’t anything wrong with the download.
I ran Windows Update so my system is up to date. I have antivirus disabled during install. I also ran the setup as administrator.
